It seems that Congress, in its infinite wisdom (sarcasm), has seen fit to allow the government to shut down, without any new budget on the horizon.
Not that anyone's noticed, yet, but we will.
Unfortunately, the Internal Revenue Service will doubtless remain open for tax season.
Now, more than ever, we need a groundswell effort to remove all current members of Congress, come their next election...

Explanatory first post
This blog will be for the newly formed Throw da bums out movement.
It's goal will be to remove from office all current members of Congress (both the House and Senate), regardless of party, and regardless of whether you, personally, like them or not.
Why?
So glad you asked.
Because they're idiots, and have chosen petty party politics (and feathering their own nests) over the good of the country.
Come election day, it will be your task to make sure that every one of the bums is voted out, and sent back to their native states to try and get a real job, just like the rest of us...
